High-Performance Coach · Founder, Godden Performance Training

Dustin Godden is the founder of Godden Performance Training, a high-performance coaching practice he built from scratch during the pandemic, now backed by an MSc and certification as an Elite Level Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist. Before coaching, Dustin pitched on an athletic scholarship at Gannon University after transferring from Mercyhurst North East, throwing a no-hitter in his Gannon debut, before going on to play in the Intercounty Baseball League of Ontario for the Hamilton Cardinals - a career that came close to the professional ranks without quite crossing over. That experience, and the decision not to chase pro ball further, now shapes how he coaches: applying kinesiology, neuroscience, and biomechanics to build athletes from the ground up, while also serving as head strength and conditioning coach for the London Badgers Baseball Association. On Decoding Wisdom, Dustin gets into why he didn't pursue professional baseball, the mentality it takes to build something from nothing, the habits and philosophy behind real high performance, and why sometimes the most important skill an athlete or entrepreneur can learn is knowing when to let go.
