Kumar Erramilli
Technologist & AI Founder
Kumar Erramilli is a three-time entrepreneur and co-founder and CTO of ACTO, an AI-powered platform built alongside University of Waterloo roommates Parth Khanna and Kapil Kalra to help life sciences field teams stay competent and confident in face-to-face conversations with healthcare professionals. Before ACTO, Kumar founded CompanyID, an NLP-based auto-categorization tool sold in 2014, and co-founded PaperDoDo, exited a year later - a track record of building and successfully exiting companies that's since led him into angel investing and coaching founders through K-Man Ventures. Earlier in his career, he cut his teeth in software development at IBM and BlackBerry, giving him a long view of tech cycles from the inside. On Decoding Wisdom, Kumar cuts through the noise around AI hype versus reality, why certainty of mindset matters more than people think, what history's internet boom can teach us about where AI is actually headed, and the honest conversation around jobs, education, and what it really means to adapt and evolve alongside the technology rather than resist it.
